Titanium Alloy Sheet Applications
GR5 (Ti-6Al-4V) and GR5 Eli (Ti-6Al-4V Eli) are the most widely used titanium alloys, due to their high strength, good corrosion resistance and high temperature properties, in the following industries.
1. Chemical Industry
- Produces titanium plates for the manufacture of reactors, used in the manufacture of corrosion-resistant reactors and vessels.
- Titanium plates for heat exchangers, used in high-efficiency heat exchange equipment.
2. Offshore Engineering
- Titanium plate for marine components: Due to the corrosion resistance of titanium, titanium sheet is used to make ship hulls, propellers and other seawater corrosion resistant titanium sheet.
